CAN YOU TELL A STORY?

Want to write about your neighbor’s interesting hobby? What’s with that new
business coming to the downtown area? Want to dig a little deeper into how the
schools and police handle cyber bullying issues?
You can write about these topics and more when you sign on as the Antigo Daily
Journal’s newest reporter. We’re looking for a new full-time staff reporter with duties
that will include meetings, features, enterprise and general assignment stories. The
position mostly includes daytime hours, but occasional night and weekend work will
be required (think parades, Music in the Park, city or school board meetings). The
ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, ambitious and a self-starter. The candidate
also must have writing, editing and computer skills. Photography skills are a big plus.
Candidates must provide their own reliable transportation and up-to-date insurance.
We are a three-day-a-week daily paper with a strong web presence.
