Wednesday’s law enforcement blotters show eight incidents of note.

Just before 5 a.m., there was a report of a vehicle facing the wrong direction on the side of Highway 45 near Highway N. The vehicle was removed.

A road blockage caused by a tire was reported on Trout Road just south of the Highway 47 junction shortly before 6 a.m. The Norwood town supervisor was notified.

A more severe road blockage, this time with a tree down all the way across Stevens Springs Road near Highway T, was reported at 2 p.m. This time the Ainsworth town supervisor was called into action.

A semi struck a telephone pole, causing the pole to lean and the truck to block the road, on Wausau Road at 3:29 p.m.

A vehicle required a tow service after striking a deer on Highway 45 near Highway J at 5:30 p.m.

A caller reported a driver “in and out of ditches” near Hill and Edison roads at 6:17 p.m. The vehicle was located then towed and the driver taken into custody for unspecified charges.

Officers responded to an Edison Street location at 10:40 p.m. for a disorderly conduct report involving a party refusing to pay a bill. The individual was “kicked out for the rest of the night and will be walking home.”

Early Thursday morning, the department of public works was summoned for a water line break on the 300 block of Watson Street around 6 a.m.
