The Langlade County Health Department reports 3,000 residents tested for the coronavirus. The department’s online dashboard information was last updated at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The total number of tests and negative test figures are based off of individuals, not total number of tests. Officials decided to switch and report negatives that are not redundant.

Other data was not impacted as a result.

The data is accumulated from the Langlade County Health Department and the Wisconsin Health Department of Health Services (DHS). The Langlade County data is directly from the Langlade County Health Department; the rest of the data is from DHS. Any discrepancy is a result of the reporting times.

County officials urge residents to view this data with a degree of caution, as it only represents those community members who have been tested. There may be community members who have COVID-19 who are not getting tested or those without symptoms. Test results are reported based upon county residency not where they travel or work.

The most recent results show:

_ Total tests administered: 3,000

_ Negative tests results (by individual): 2,855

_ Pending test results: 54

_ Positive cases: 91

_ Active cases: 12

_ Deaths: 2
