The search of a city residence resulted in the arrest of a woman on a cash bond following her initial appearance in Langlade County Court.
Kimberly Anne Jeffer, 32, 619 1/2 Eighth Ave., is charged with possession of methamphetamine, second offense possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, all as a repeat offender. She was ordered to a $2,500 cash bond with conditions to have no contact with an individual involved in the case and no use or possession of controlled substances illegally.
Jeffer was previously convicted of disorderly conduct as a repeater in August, two counts of bail jumping and controlled substance possession in April 2018.
The criminal complaint states that on Monday afternoon an officer responded to assist Probation and Parole with the search of a city residence. The probation agents informed him that Jeffer had tested positive for meth that day and when asked if there were narcotics in her house, she said she was not sure.
The search of the residence located items including a black scale consistent with weighing controlled substances, four used hypodermic needles, one of which tested positive for meth, a grinder, pipes consistent with marijuana use, a vape pen, numerous used gem baggies and a cloudy, rock-like substance that tested positive for THC.
