Open for business

No Filter Nutrition officially opened their doors as of Feb. 26, after a little over two months of hard work and renovations preparing for that first day.

Ellen White signed a three-year lease on Dec. 9, 2020, for the space located at 2244 Neva Road, Antigo.

“No Filter Nutrition is actually a nutrition club offering nutritional support for the community,” White said.

The club offers a wide variety of nutritional options such as smoothies, energy drinks, teas, shakes, digestive options, dairy-free and keto options.

White has a large industrial oven that she can’t wait to put to use to make protein doughnuts, muffins, brownies, bars and other baked good with a nutritional twist.

With plans to hold fitness classes in the near future, White is excited to give back to the community.

“I started using these products four years ago and fell in love with them. They’ve helped me maintain a total weight loss of 120 pounds,” White said.

Eager to tell others what the products can do, White started coaching her friends and family part time and later helped open Peak Nutrition in Wausau in January 2020.

After learning the skills of the business and seeing what it took to run a club, Ellen began pursuing the idea of opening her own. Within a few months of leaving Peak, construction started on their Neva Road location.

Now, White’s vision has come together. The club had a complete makeover from the colorful hand-painted scheme on the walls to the new flooring and down to the guts of it, electrical and plumbing.

“We’re so thankful of our landlords. They’ve allowed us to make all of the changes we wanted to, and we’re very grateful for that,” White said.
