A welcome sight greeted folks cruising near Antigo High School Monday morning, as the Red Robin football program was holding its summer training mini-camp.
Head Coach Tom Schofield reported 38 players ranging from grades 9-12 in attendance.
“This year’s camp is very different from the past, and we are following all guidelines to keep our student athletes as safe as possible,” Schofield said. “It is great to see and work with everyone involved to continue to keep the Antigo football tradition strong. We are looking forward to the upcoming season and will adjust as needed.”
Players were kept in pods and activities included offensive formations, base plays, and drills on the five fights of tackling versus air.
