Approving a contract for the new principal leads the agenda when the White Lake board of education convenes Tuesday.

The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m.. in the school library.

With the elevation of Glenda Butterfield-Boldig to district administrator last month, the district has been left with the key K-12 vacancy for principal.

A candidate has been selected and details will be announced Tuesday evening when the contract is inked.

In other matters, the board will review a summer school staffing proposal and take its first look at the various handbooks for the upcoming school year.

There will also be a look at plans for a graduation ceremony for the 2020 seniors and retiring to school this fall following last spring’s early end to classes.

Following the open meeting, the board will reconvene in closed session for discussion regarding non-certified staffing and compensation.
