The Northwoods Tractor Club is hosting its annual fundraiser, Old Time Plow Days,from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature 50-plus working antique tractors and old machinery displays.
The event will take place at the Polar Recreation & Ball Park, N2760 Highway S, east of Antigo.
Throughout the day, there will be multiple events and child friendly activities taking place.
There will be antique equipment in use for all to see, tractors plowing, threshing machines going and an antique Allis Chalmers baler making round bales.
Wagon transportation will take those interested in seeing the equipment in use to the fields for demonstrations, as well as to the overflow parking lot.
A parade of tractors will take place at noon, featuring antique Allis Chalmers tractors and more.
The Quarry Road Band will play live music from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
There will be many raffles and bucket raffles with many cash prizes and the top prize of a Hustler 22KW generator. The announcing of raffle winners will begin at 3:30 p.m.
There will be local vendors bringing crafts and metal arts, and Larson’s Crazy Wood will display chainsaw art and carve new pieces at the event.
A live petting zoo will have farm and exotic animals.
There will be food concessions serving brats, burgers, hot dogs, fries and cheese curds. Along with pie and ice cream, the remaining pies will be auctioned off at the end of the day.
