Donald “Don” Leo Antoniewicz, Sr., 88, Random Lake, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at his residence.
Don was born on May 13, 1934, in Antigo to Leo and Helen (Noskowiak) Antoniewicz. He attended Antigo schools. In August 2006, he married the former Darlene Toepfer.
Over the years, Don was a machinist for Milwaukee Valve. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, going on pontoon rides and traveling. He and Darlene were snowbirds to Florida for the winter months.
Don is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Roni Foster, and Donald Antoniewicz Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole, Heather, Donny III, April, Amber and Justin; great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob “Yogi” (Leah) Antoniewicz and Gene (Karen) Antoniewicz; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Antoniewicz and Ruthie and her sons, Dennis and Jeff. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Helen Antoniewicz; daughter, Sharon Gonia; granddaughter, Neela; and three brothers, Chet, Walter and Ben.
A funeral service to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, 123 South St. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Entombment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
