Justin Jeter of Antigo passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2021, at the age of 31.
Justin was born on March 20, 1990, in Roswell, N.M., to Charles Jeter of Roswell and Theresa Winnen of Antigo. Justin spent years residing in both Roswell and Antigo. He worked at Schroeder Brothers Farm and Goodwill while living in Antigo.
Justin was musically talented. He enjoyed singing and writing music. He had a good sense of humor, was fun loving, and enjoyable to be around. He loved nature in the woods. He walked the north trails often.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his son, Charley of Merrill; stepdad, Gary Winnen of Antigo; brothers, Jeff (Colleen Bristol) Jeter of Antigo and Andy Cochran of Antigo; Jeff’s son, Oliver Jeter; Andy’s children, Abby Cochran, Cody Nowak and Justin Nowak, and their mother, Michelle Tillman; half-brother, Jonathan Jeter of New Mexico; stepsister, Kayla Winnen of Charlotte, N.C.; aunts, Mary Ritchey of Texas, Laurinda Alexander of Michigan, Lena Price of Texas, Melissa Bezouche of New Mexico, Wendy Alexander of Georgia, Carol Dimitriades of Milwaukee and Sharon Truckey of Green Bay; and uncles, Brigham Tuttle of New Mexico, Albert Alexander Jr. of New Mexico, Dave Winnen of Milwaukee and Mike Hay of Albuqueque, N.M.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dolores and Albert Alexander, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Louis Wesley and Vergie Jeter; stepgrandparents, Jean and Russell Winnen; aunt, Deborah Tuttle; and uncles, Steve Tuttle and Jim Winnen.
A funeral service for Justin will take place on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Spaude officiating. A visitation will take place on Saturday prior to the service at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
