The Antigo High School and Middle School bowling teams competed on Sunday, tasting a good measure of success in their respective matches, as the boys and girls varsity teams remained undefeated on the season.
The girls varsity team scored an 8-1 win over the Wausau girls co-op. Average score was a nice 175.2. Top bowlers included Makala Beck, Katie Kirsch and Juliana Maus.
The boys varsity moved to 6-0 with a win over Wittenberg. The team averaged a 187, led by Brady Rickert and Grant Praslowicz.
The JV1 team lost to Lakeland while averaging a 127. Leading bowlers were Carson Kunze and Connor Umland.
The JV2 squad beat the bye team, led by Matt Sprague and Alex Heinzen.
In Middle School action, the boys team 1 defeated the girls team 2 with an average score of 92. Top bowlers included Danny Maus, Levi Strobel and Sterling Schultz.
Boys team 2 lost to Merrill despite a 150 average score. Leading Antigo was Sam Maus, Xavier Fermanich and Korbin Schroepfer.
Girls team 1 dropped a match to the D.C. Everest boys with an average of 165.
