Nick Arrowood and Matt Steger contended for the podium in the Three’s Company bowling league at North Star Lanes on Thursday, in the end splitting the top spots and both earning honors.

Arrowood emerged as the night’s best overall mens’ bowler, crashing down a 784 series highlighted by a 265 game. Steger walked away with single game bragging rights based on his 279 effort, and a strapping 774 series tally.

Chris Orgeman was the third man in the leader mix, going for a 268 game and 695 series.

On the ladies side another pair of familiar names bubbled to the top, with Jennie Volkman firing the top series of 566 and Laurie Bastle the best single game with a 221. Bastle nearly earned the top series but settled for second at 560, while Volkman’s best single game effort was a 196. Amy Vaughn rounded out the leaderboard by bowling a 198 game and 512 series.
