The White Lake volleyball team was competitive Tuesday, but in the end suffered its second straight Central Wisconsin North Conference defeat, falling to Northland Lutheran 3-0.

“We had some really exciting volleys between the teams,” head coach Jessica Selissen said. “It was a really fun match up.”

Scores were 10-25, 14-25 and 19-25.

Leaders for the Lakers included Amelia Aleman with five digs, three kills and two aces; Morgan Jarmuz had five digs and registered three kills; Katrina Pranke came away with four kills and three assists, while Ali Skorie had two aces and six digs.

Both of White Lake’s early season match ups have been conference affairs, while Northland Lutheran moved to 2-3, 1-1 in the CWC North.

White Lake has its first non-conference match on Thursday, when it plays at Wolf River Lutheran High School, located in Shawano.
