Grant Praslowicz challenged the honors series level in the Thursday Youth bowling league at North Star Lanes last week, not quite reaching the ledge but rocking down a still-impressive 695 total. That series featured games of 261, 200, and 234.
Jack Steger was right there in second place, a 683 series and 245 game. Luke Bastle went for 657 and 244, and Ean Perry rolled 557 and 202.
Kelli Jo Kirsch emerged on top of a tough day of competition in the girls division, tipping over a 571 series with a nice 231 middle game.
Julianna Maus was right behind Kirsch, toppling 566 total pins including a 202 game.
Katie Kirsch equaled that 202 game, but was one pin shy of Maus, in third series-wise with her 565.
The rest of the best bowlers on Thursday, series and game, were Makala Beck, 554 and 206; Ginny Praslowicz, 541 and 191; Emma Beck, 529 and 201, and Marnie Kubacki, 522 and 210.
