Prep baseball teams across the state have learned their playoff fate.

The Antigo Red Robins have drawn a three seed in Division Two and will host six-seeded and Great Northern Conference rival Tomahawk on Thursday, June 10 at Kretz Brothers Park.

The winner will travel to second-seeded Rhinelander for a regional semifinal on Tuesday, June 15.

The Robins hold a season record of 8-11 heading into weekend play, with Tomahawk holding a 1-13 mark.

The teams met twice during the regular season, with Antigo winning both times, coming by scores of 12-5 and 19-2.

As far as other area teams are concerned, Wittenberg-Birnamwood is a four-seed in Division Three, the Chargers will host fifth-seeded Manawa on June 10, with the winner playing at top-seed Amherst in the second round.

Elcho is a five seed in Division Four. The Hornets will travel to number four Gresham on Thursday. The teams did not meet during the regular season. Elcho is 2-7 thus far, Gresham is 3-7.

The winner plays at top-seed Three Lakes-Phelps.

White Lake will be a six-seed for the postseason. The 1-13 Lakers travel to number three Tigerton, also on Thursday, June 10.

The squads also have not played yet this season. Tigerton holds a 3-9 overall mark.

The winner gets a road trip to number two Bowler for a regional semifinal.

It all leads up to the WIAA State Baseball Tournament, set for June 28-July 1 at Fox Cities Stadium near Appleton.
