The Antigo co-ed Middle School soccer team finished its season with a win Thursday, downing Wisconsin Rapids on the road 3-1.

It was a slow start for both teams on a rainy day and wet field.

The Antigo offense was productive though, with 23 shots on goal in the match, including 13 in the first half.

Despite those numbers, the Robins found themselves without a goal at the halftime break.

Diego Martinez finally put one home in the early portions of the second half, and the team settled in from there.

Tucker McCann later netted his first goal of the season on an impressive direct kick from the half-field line, while Parker Paff finished things off on a rebound score off a Liam Burt shot in the 3-1 final.

The victory also clinched a winning record for the Middle Schoolers, who end their season 6-4.
