Three sport standout Gray signs to play baseball at Ripon College

It was like something out of an inspirational sports movie. Talented high school senior signs to play college ball, then goes out a rips a solo home run in his first plate appearance not an hour later.But for Antigo’s Mason Gray, Tuesday wasn’t a Hollywood movie. He signed to play college baseball at Ripon, then went out and pitched the first two innings while sparking a nine-run bottom of the second inning with his solo dinger.

Gray, who has also ranked among the Great Northern Conference standouts in football and basketball, had no doubt he was going to be playing baseball.
